Humans live longer than dogs due to a combination of factors such as genetics, lifestyle, and medical care. Humans have a slower metabolic rate, which means their cells divide at a slower pace and are less prone to damage. Additionally, humans have access to advanced medical treatments and better nutrition, which can help prevent and treat diseases that may shorten lifespan. Dogs, on the other hand, age more rapidly and are more susceptible to certain health issues that can impact their longevity. **
